Product description

Through a free cycle called Stars of the Silver Screen paysthe Czech Mint tribute to the most important personalities of Czechoslovak cinematography. After Karel Fiala and Rudolf Hrušínský comes the silver commemorative medal of the unforgettable Vladimír Menšík.

A spontaneous comedian with unrestrained speech and an inexhaustible supply of means of expression and countless stories. This is how the viewers remember Vladimír Menšík. This master of revels was able to win the hearts of both adults and child viewers and more than once he proved that, in addition to humorous creations, he can also accommodate a chillingly tragic roles. Regardless of the extent of the role, thanks to him we can enjoy to the fullest over 150 lively and immediate characters.

The silver commemorative medal boasts two portraits of Vladimír Menšík. The first presents the charismatic actor traditionally - as we know him. The second is a true rarity - because it is a self-portrait in profile, which is accompanied by the actor’s signature. Both portraits, in whose selection was involved the daughter of Vladimír Menšík Martina, was transferred into a relief form by the experienced medal maker MgA. Martin Dašek.

An integral part of each medal is a stylish package, that tells a story of most famous film and television figures of Vladimír Menšík.
