The "Czech Lion" gold coin, which is the first coin of its kind to be minted for the Czech market, received a brand new relief in 2024, but its reverse side is still dominated by an exotic beast – a Czech lion in a realistic rendition wearing the Crown of Saint Wenceslas on his head. An additional motif is an eagle, which is a synthesis of the birds of prey of St. Wenceslas, Moravia and Silesia.
