Product description

Silver medal John Fitzgerald Kennedy proof

The medal devoted to John Fitzgerald Kennedy commemorates the 35th US President (1917–1963), whose life was prematurely ended by a bullet of an assassin in 1963 in Dallas, Texas. The medal was issued on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s election to the White House. The name of this popular US president is connected with words he said in his inauguration speech in January 1961: Do not ask what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.

The obverse side of the medal features the effigy of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, with the American flag in the background.

The reverse side shows the Capitol – seat of the American Congress in Washington, D.C.
