Kapka naděje is one of the oldest Czech foundations which has saved the lives of children with serious illnesses since 2000 and has implemented hundreds of charity projects during its existence. The charity event, which is the result of the cooperation between Kapka naděje and the Czech Mint, takes the form of a silver mandala of hope designed by the foundation's founder Vendula Pizingerová.

A mandala is a mystical pattern. Its name, which comes from ancient Indian Sanskrit, can be translated simply as a circle, in fact however it means infinity, perfection, balance, unity, ... Although people associate mandalas primarily with the civilizations of South Asia, variations can be found across time, cultures, and religious and philosophical systems - just look at the windows of European cathedrals or the dream catchers of American Indians. They are a tool for relaxation, meditation and self-discovery, but also for problem solving or fullfilling wishes. Because all of us need hope in our lives, it has become the main motif of the mandala...

Hope is an optimistic state of mind based on the expectation of positive results. However, it is not just a simple belief that things will turn out well in the end. It is the certainty that something is worthwhile regardless of the outcome. It is a belief in ourselves without which we cannot achieve happiness and success. Our will to live is sustained by imagining future possibilities, and when we have a clear goal in front of us that we believe in, our personality can grow. Without hope, we cannot overcome obstacles and continue on our journey.

The charity medal is dominated by a coloured motif - a blue mandala of hope inspired by the logo of Kapka naděje. "If our activity helped to save just one human life, it would be worth it," says the author of the mandala, Vendula Pizingerová.

In addition to the mandala of hope, charity medals with motifs of health and love were also created. If you buy them, you will contribute to a good cause and at the same time you will get a unique talisman.
