Crystal Coin

The unique silver coin with polished Czech crystal from the "Crystal Coin" series combines the traditional Jablonec crafts - the Czech Mint and Preciosa glassworks. The gift for every occasion bears the motif of an angel.

The word angel comes from the Greek angelos - or  bearer of good news. This name is appropriate because angels serve as mediators between the kingdoms of heaven and earth. They are not necessarily just Christian angels. We know of similar supernatural beings from other world religions or esoteric teachings, and although they differ in some aspects, they have one thing in common: They embody love, security, peace and tranquility. Angels are omnipresent, so they may be near us at all times, but they cannot help us unless we allow them to. They will not solve problems for us, but they will provide wise counsel and set us on the path to success. In addition to the personal guardian angel who watches over each of us, there are many other servants of God who are in charge of specific aspects of human existence. It is up to us to ask for help the angel of love, wisdom, freedom, healing, ...

Angels are perfect and have no reason to change - no one knows if they are male or female - everyone sees them as they want to see them. As the licence to issue commemorative coins of the Czech Mint is granted by the Pacific island of Niue, the obverse side bears its necessary elements - the national emblem, the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2023.
