Product description

The two-ounce silver coin with the motif of the Ukrainian red viburnum represents an artistic and technical uniqueness as well as a reflection on the current situation in the world.

Red Kalina is the name of the Ukrainian national plant and the name of an old folk song. It was originally the anthem of the Ukrainian legions during World War I, but today - in light of Russian aggression - it is more relevant and popular than ever. No wonder. After all, it sings that even though Ukraine is going through a difficult time, it will persevere and continue to exist: "Behold, the red viburnum has wilted in the meadow. Somehow, our glorious Ukraine has gone dark. And we will raise the red viburnum. And we will cheer up our glorious Ukraine! Our volunteers appear in bloody battle. Free our native Ukraine from Moscow's shackles. And we will break those Moscow chains. And we will cheer up our glorious Ukraine, hey, hey, cheer up!"

The reverse side of the coin presents a Ukrainian family - a mother, two children and a soldier father who protects them with a shield. Together they water a red viburnum. Its deep roots, which weave between the arms, and its mossy branches, which are strewn with fruit, symbolize the strength, freedom and indomitability of a sorely tried nation. The richly decorated obverse side is then devoted to the essential attributes of the coin's issuer, the State of Cameroon, bearing its national emblem, the nominal value of 2,000 FRANCS CFA (XAF) and the year of issue 2024, all displayed in high relief embellished with patina and gilding.

T&S Coin 's issue limit is just 500 pieces.
