The Czech Mint, in cooperation with the Czech National Bank, regularly issues a complete set of Czech circulation coins, which are supplemented with a commemorative token and stored in an elegant case with motifs of the Czech Republic. The year 2025 is no exception.

You come into contact with metal coins almost every day, but have you ever thought about what their relief actually depicts? The crown coin bears the St. Wenceslas Crown and the two-crown coin features a button – a decorative jewel from the times of the Great Moravian Empire. Coins with higher nominal values feature the architecture of the Czech Republic. The five-crown coin depicts the legendary Charles Bridge over the Vltava River. The ten-crown coin features Petrov, the panorama of St. Peter and Paul's Cathedral in Brno. The twenty-crown coin is dedicated to the monument to St. Wenceslas on Wenceslas Square in Prague. The fifty-crown coin, which was declared the most beautiful coin in the world in 1993, features a group of buildings including Charles Bridge, the National Theater, St. Nicholas Church, and Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral – unique structures characteristic of our capital city.

The set contains six circulation coins that were produced in a more environmentally friendly way than coins that enter circulation. Each coin is stamped with the year 2025. The relief of the accompanying commemorative token, designed by medal maker Eva Prousková, DiS., features motifs of two mountains in northern Bohemia. While the obverse side of the token is dominated by the Krkonoše Mountains with the Sněžka, the reverse side features the Jizerské Mountains represented by the Protržená dam. The composition is completed by typical plants.

The set is packaged in a Czech-English leporello full of photographs and interesting facts about the sights of the Czech Republic.
