Münze Österreich is the only official mint in Austria. Its history dates back 800 years, during which time it has minted coins such as groschen, ducats, guilders, kreuzers, and euros. In addition to various coins, the Austrian mint also offers gold investment bars, such as this one, which weighs 10 grams.
The front of the bar features the following embossed attributes: the Münze Österreich logo, the weight and purity of the gold used, the Argor-Heraeus/Pamp seal of quality, and a unique production number. The bar, together with its certificate of authenticity, is sealed in protective foil, which must not be broken.
The Austrian Mint's ingots are produced by the Swiss refineries Argor-Heraeus or Pamp and their quality meets the highest international standards. This makes the bars highly liquid and tradable worldwide.
