Münze Österreich is the only official mint in Austria. Its history goes back 800 years and during that time it has minted, for example, groschen, ducats, guilders, kreuzers and euros. This special type of gold bar, called Kinebar, has a patented safety feature on the back - the so-called Kinegram. This hologram, which changes colour depending on the angle of view, depicts a Lipizzaner - a noble horse closely associated with the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. The front of the bar then presents the following embossed attributes - the Münze Österreich logo, the weight and purity of the gold used, the Argor-Heraeus quality seal and the unique serial number. The bar together with the certificate of authenticity is sealed in a protective foil that must not be broken.
