Münze Österreich is the only official mint in Austria. Its history goes back 800 years and during that time it has minted, for example, groschen, ducats, guilders, kreuzers and euros. In addition to various coins, the Austrian Mint also offers gold investment ingots - for example, this Kinebar, which weighs 10 grams.
This special type of gold bar, called Kinebar, has a patented safety feature on the back - the so-called Kinegram. This hologram, which changes colour depending on the angle of view, depicts a Lipizzaner - a noble horse closely associated with the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. The front of the bar then presents the following embossed attributes - the Münze Österreich logo, the weight and purity of the gold used, the Argor-Heraeus quality seal and the unique serial number. The bar together with the certificate of authenticity is sealed in a protective foil that must not be broken.
The ingots of the Austrian mint are produced by the Swiss refinery Argor-Heraeus and their quality meets the highest international standards. This makes Kinebars highly liquid and tradable worldwide. The attractive Kinegram also makes them an original gift.
