This gold medal commemorates the historic meeting of the American and Russian presidents in Prague in April 2010 and the signing of the START treaty on the reduction of nuclear arms. The medal is symbolically linked to the previous medal Barack Obama – Prague 2009.
The obverse side features the presidents of the US and Russia on the background of the Prague Castle where the START treaty was signed.
The reverse side symbolizes principal Prague monuments, the title of the treaty in English and Russian is written in the circumscription of the medal.
The medal is very popular, in particular among collectors, but also among people who wish to recall an event so crucial for the mankind whose most important part – signing of the START treaty – took place in the Czech Republic.
