Luck! What is luck? Opinions are different and they are as old as humanity. It can be a positive event that suddenly comes in our life and changes it for the better. People who perceive luck in this way expect to receive it from outside - randomly and often undeservedly. Others believe that happiness does not depend on the universe or other superior power. On the contrary, everyone is the creator of his or her destiny. Such happiness comes from within, is the result of reasonable life choices and takes the form of a joyful and long-lasting sense of fulfillment. Whether we imagine luck as a lottery win or a happy family life, each of us longs for it…
The academic sculptor Majka Wichnerová associates the words SATISFACTION, PEACE, LOVE, FREEDOM, FAMILY, WORK with luck. Therefore, the reverse side of the ducat was dedicated to them. These are accompanied by a foreign-language translation, a two-tailed Czech lion and the sun. The obverse side is dominated by the sun. The word LUCK translated in seven languages was set among its rays.
