Four Leaf Clover

Who would not know Čtyřlístek - four inseparable friends comming from pond Blaták in Třeskoprsk near to the castle Bezzub. Both young and old readers enjoy the comic characters of Jaroslav Němeček in the stories of Ljuba Štíplová for 50 years. The Czech Mint published four gold coins on the occasion of Čtyřlístek jubilee. Myšpulín appears on the first coin.

The brilliant cat Myšpulín is an unsurpassed inventor and his intelligence makes him a natural leader of Čtyřlístek. His fantastic gadgets will solve many of the comic book heroes' problems. Fortunately, Myšpulín is calm, nothing distracts him and he always knows what to do. He inherited the curious nature of his parents - his father, who was a pharmacist and chemist, and his mother, who liked to experiment in the kitchen. A simple radio was the first device that little Myšpulin designed, but gradually invented various computers, robots and interstellar ships.

The relief of the commemorative coin was created illustrations by Mária Filová, DiS. on the basis of original comic book. The reverse side of the coin presents Myšpulin carrying a giant test tube - it will be one of his more flagrant inventions judging according to the sparks coming out of it. The composition of the reverse side was supplemented by Myšpulin´s signature. On the obverse side there is the name and the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II., the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of the issue 2019, which means the necessary attributes of the island of Niue that provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to mint its own commemorative coins.

An integral part of Myšpulín´s coin is a merry collector´s album, where you can store a complete collection of four comic book coins with Myšpulín, Pinďa, Fifinka and Bobík.
