Product description

The idea of a series of commemorative coins to give tribute to our biggest tennis stars was created in 2017, when 140 years have passed since the first sporting event in Wimbledon, England. Jan Kodeš, the Wimbledon winner of 1973, became its author and promoter.

The Czech Mint published a five-part series of "Czech Tennis Legends" in 2018. It immortalized apart from Jan Kodeš also Wimbledon champions Jaroslav Drobný (1954), Martina Navrátilova (1978-1979, 1982-1987, 1990), Jana Novotna (1998) and Petra Kvitova (2011, 2014).

Each of these giants has its place in this luxurious wooden etui, which is complemented by a special photo-insert.
